Virtual Credit Cards That Work on Canva Pro
Best result for us: Bleap, Revolut, Starling Bank. Two of the three also passed a renewal charge four weeks later.
Most people land here after three or four failed attempts on Canva Pro. We ran 11 cards so you do not have to repeat the experiment yourself.
Why Canva Pro turns your card down
Your bank is not blocking anything, the merchant is. Canva Pro sees a card range it does not like and issues a soft decline before the authorization ever reaches your issuer. That is why you get no fraud alert and no explanation.

The three we would actually use
- We like Bleap mainly for the funding side. 0% per top-up adds up if you pay monthly, but it is still the lowest of the cards that worked.
- Take Revolut if you want the lowest issuance cost (Free). Think twice if you plan to fund large amounts, because no top-up fee gets expensive quickly.
- Take Starling Bank if you want the lowest issuance cost (Free). Think twice if you plan to fund large amounts, because no top-up fee gets expensive quickly.
Paying Canva Pro with a virtual card, start to finish
-
1
Open the account
Every card here wants an ID up front. It is an automated check and rarely takes more than a few minutes. Do 2FA before the first deposit, not after.
-
2
Load a small balance
USDT and bank transfer both work. Crypto lands in minutes; a transfer is cheaper but can sit overnight. Load one month first. Bleap charges 0% per top-up.
-
3
Create the card
You can spin up more than one card here, which is worth doing: Canva Pro gets its own, everything else stays off it. Set the limit just above the plan price.
-
4
Enter the details at checkout
There is an address check. Revolut issues a Global address. Paste that one, because AVS fails on a single wrong character.
-
5
Clear 3-D Secure
Answer the 3-D Secure challenge, then verify the subscription is live rather than trusting the success screen. Pending charges do happen.
If it still will not go through
Between them these cover almost every failed attempt we have logged.
- Billing address mismatch (Revolut issues a Global address). AVS compares what you type against the address on file, and it fails on a single transposed digit. Paste it instead of retyping.
- Three declines in a row. Most checkouts lock the payment method after three failures. Change the card instead of pressing the button again.
- Trial already claimed. If the free trial was used on that account before, the card gets charged immediately and often flagged as fraud.
- Debit range, credit-only acquirer. A handful of processors refuse debit BINs outright, before any balance check runs. Try a credit range from the table.
- Monthly cap reached. Cards with a hard monthly limit decline once it is used up, and the message the merchant shows is identical to a fraud block.
BIN ranges worth trying on Canva Pro
Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.
Where these cards are issued
The ranges above carry issuing countries of their own. If a checkout refuses one region, the same card family often exists out of another, and the country pages group what we have tested.

Questions we get asked
Will a virtual card actually work on Canva Pro?
In our tests, yes. We ran 11 cards against it in September and the 10 below are the ones that went through. Failures were almost all range blocks rather than balance problems, and 253 issuers in our database carry a positive flag for this merchant.
Why is my normal bank card declined by Canva Pro?
Your bank is not rejecting anything. Canva Pro uses an overseas acquirer that screens the card's country against your account region up front. The charge is dropped before it reaches your bank, which is why there is no alert to appeal.
Which one is cheapest for Canva Pro?
On our numbers Bleap leads at 9.8 out of 10. The rest is down to top-up cost: waived top-up fees matter more than a lower issuance fee once you are past month one.
Can I use a card with no KYC for Canva Pro?
One of the 10 cards above is listed as No KYC: Pikabao. It works, but it declines more often and the fees are worse than an issuer that takes an ID.
What does Canva Pro cost in total?
The card fee is the smallest part. What you actually pay is a top-up charge on every reload plus the Canva Pro plan. 6 of the 10 cards here skip the issuance fee entirely.
Do I have to keep the card open between Canva Pro renewals?
Only if you want the renewal to clear. Where the issuer allows it, freeze the card rather than closing it, then unfreeze a day before the renewal date. A closed card cannot be brought back.
How we test
11 cards went through a live Canva Pro checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
