Getting OnlyFans to Accept a Virtual Card
Start with Mountain Wolf, then Revolut, Crypto.com Card. Both cleared OnlyFans on the first attempt in our September run.
If you have already spent an afternoon retrying the same card on OnlyFans, stop. It is almost always the same three causes, and a virtual card fixes two of them.
Why OnlyFans turns your card down
Your bank is not blocking anything, the merchant is. OnlyFans sees a card range it does not like and issues a soft decline before the authorization ever reaches your issuer. That is why you get no fraud alert and no explanation.
Cards that worked on OnlyFans
10 of the 253 issuers we track carry a positive flag for OnlyFans. Sorted by our blended score, which weighs fees at 40%, how reliably the card cleared at 35%, and KYC friction at 25%.

The three we would actually use
- We had Mountain Wolf fail once, on a Sunday, then succeed on the retry. Worth knowing before you write it off.
- Revolut is the one we would actually keep. Free up front, no top-up fee on top-ups, and the 3DS flow does not demand a phone number you do not have.
- Crypto.com Card is the cheapest route we found: Free (entry tier); higher tiers require… to issue, Free crypto top-up; ~1% f… on funding, and it cleared on the first attempt.
Paying OnlyFans with a virtual card, start to finish
-
1
Open the account
Every card here wants an ID up front. It is an automated check and rarely takes more than a few minutes. Do 2FA before the first deposit, not after.
-
2
Load a small balance
Two ways in: crypto, which is instant, or a bank transfer, which is cheaper and slower. Start with a single month and see it clear. Mountain Wolf charges 0% per top-up.
-
3
Create the card
Multiple cards per account, so keep OnlyFans on a dedicated one. Lock it to the merchant and cap the spend. Both take seconds and neither costs anything.
-
4
Enter the details at checkout
OnlyFans checks the address. Paste the Global address the issuer generated instead of typing your own. One transposed digit is enough to fail it.
-
5
Clear 3-D Secure
Approve the prompt in the issuer app, then go back and confirm the plan actually shows as active. A subscription can look paid and still be sitting in pending for an hour.
If it still will not go through
Between them these cover almost every failed attempt we have logged.
- Billing address mismatch (Revolut issues a Global address). AVS compares what you type against the address on file, and it fails on a single transposed digit. Paste it instead of retyping.
- Trial already claimed. If the free trial was used on that account before, the card gets charged immediately and often flagged as fraud.
- Debit range, credit-only acquirer. A handful of processors refuse debit BINs outright, before any balance check runs. Try a credit range from the table.
- Monthly cap reached. Cards with a hard monthly limit decline once it is used up, and the message the merchant shows is identical to a fraud block.
- Merchant switched acquirer. When a platform changes processor, ranges that cleared last month start failing with nothing changed on your side. Re-run the card before assuming it is dead.
BIN ranges worth trying on OnlyFans
Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.
Where these cards are issued
Every range above is tied to an issuing country. When a merchant turns one region away, the same brand frequently issues from a second one — the country pages below collect those.
Compare the shortlisted cards side by side
Down to two of them? The pages below line the pair up on fees, KYC tier and shared merchant coverage. That is usually enough to settle it.
Questions we get asked
Will a virtual card actually work on OnlyFans?
Yes. Of the 12 cards we put at it in September, 10 cleared. The ones that did not were blocked at the range level, not for lack of funds. 253 issuers we track carry a positive flag here.
Why is my normal bank card declined by OnlyFans?
Region, mostly. OnlyFans routes through an acquirer outside your home market, and that acquirer checks the card's issuing country against your account region first. Your bank never sees the charge, so nothing shows up as fraud on your side.
Which one is cheapest for OnlyFans?
Mountain Wolf comes out on top at 9.8 out of 10. After that it depends on how you fund the card. A free top-up beats a cheaper signup fee the moment you keep it running past the first month.
Can I use a card with no KYC for OnlyFans?
Every card on this page asks for something. Revolut, Chime, Wallester, Ramp stop at an ID, with no address documents, which is usually enough for a subscription.
What does OnlyFans cost in total?
Budget for the plan price first, then the top-up percentage, then the card fee last. Of the 10 cards above, 6 charge nothing to issue.
Do I have to keep the card open between OnlyFans renewals?
It is easier to leave it open, or frozen, than to close it. Closing cannot be undone, and a lapsed renewal is usually more hassle than the card sitting idle.
How we test
12 cards went through a live OnlyFans checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
