Failures we could not fix
The weak spot is Best Buy, which declined every time. Everything else was either clean or fixed by correcting the billing address.
What to change before you retry
- Best Buy: 0 of 22 cleared. High-value orders land in manual review. Splitting the basket so each charge stays small cleared for us, and the billing address has to match the card exactly.
- Sephora US: 6 of 18 cleared. US and EU stores bill through different acquirers. Match the store to the range's country and expect the first order to sit in review for a few hours.
Getting it to work first time
- You can hold several cards at once (Multiple). Split them by merchant, not by amount. It makes a failed charge far easier to trace.
- Set the billing address to exactly what Pionex Card generates for Ireland. Copy and paste rather than retyping it; a single wrong character fails the AVS check.
