323 virtual card BIN ranges, grouped by network and country

They identify the issuer and the product line, not your account. Six digits give you the network, the issuing country and whether the card is debit, credit or prepaid. The remaining ten identify the account, and only the issuer can map those. A BIN lookup will never expose anyone's balance or card number.

Three causes cover most of ours: a geoblock on the issuing range, an address or ZIP mismatch on the AVS check, and an unfinished 3-D Secure challenge. Each one shows up differently in the gateway response, which is why we publish the reason next to the merchant rather than a bare pass rate.

A charge cleared when the merchant's checkout returned an approval for that range during our test run. The counts include renewals, not just first charges, because a card that passes once and fails on renewal is the failure people actually hit.
