464591 BIN Check - United States Visa Debit Card
192 of 264 attempts cleared, and most of those came from three merchants: Disney+, YouTube Premium, Netflix.
A reader asked us to check this Cash App range because a forum post claimed 464591 was dead. It is not. Here is what we found running it through real merchant checkouts.

The fee stack
Three lines decide it. Issuance: no issuance fee. Funding: no top-up fee. Conversion: no FX markup. Compare on funding cost rather than signup fee. The funding side is what you pay every month for years.

Merchant by merchant
Everything we pushed through this range, including the merchants it never cleared.
Merchant by merchant
| Merchant | Attempts | Cleared | Rate | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Disney+ | 84 | 78 | 93% | no friction, and no AVS prompt |
| YouTube Premium | 68 | 61 | 90% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Netflix | 52 | 44 | 85% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Tidal | 34 | 0 | 0% | 3-D Secure challenge never completed. The order timed out waiting for the OTP. |
| Nintendo eShop | 26 | 9 | 35% | AVS mismatch. The ZIP on file did not match the address registered to the card. |
Run from a United States-region account between 16 Jul to 20 Aug 2026, with the billing address set to the issuer default unless noted. Declines were logged with the reason the gateway returned.
Failures we could not fix
Two merchants gave us trouble, Tidal and Nintendo eShop. In both cases the decline came back as an issuer block rather than an address problem, which is not something you can fix from your side.
What to change before you retry
- Tidal: 0 of 34 cleared. Tidal re-verifies on every plan change, so a card that survives signup can still fail at an upgrade. Keep the address static between changes.
- Nintendo eShop: 9 of 26 cleared. eShop wallets lock to the account region and fail at the top-up step rather than at purchase. Change the account region first, then attach the card.
Setup notes for Cash App
- Use the United States address Cash App gives you, verbatim. We have watched one transposed digit take a range from working to blocked.
- You can hold several cards at once (Multiple). Split them by merchant, not by amount. It makes a failed charge far easier to trace.
- Bank transfer is the cheap funding route here, but it is not instant. Top up a day before a renewal rather than the same morning.
Verdict, briefly
Two things decide it. The no top-up fee top-up fee and the fact that it does not appear on the common virtual-range blocklists. Both work in its favour. Ranked on cost alone it sits mid-table. Ranked on consistency it moves up a few places.
FAQ
What does the 464591 BIN tell a merchant?
Roughly: who issued it, where, and what kind of product it is. Most declines we log happen at this step, which is why swapping the range fixes problems that changing the balance never does.
Is 464591 a real card number?
It is the first six of sixteen digits. The remaining ten identify the account, and only Cash App can map those. A BIN alone will never get anyone into your money.
Why would 464591 be declined if the range is fine?
Of the 264 attempts behind this page, the losses broke down as address mismatch first, incomplete 3-D Secure second, and merchant-side range blocks a distant third. Only the last one is about 464591.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
That is the normal case. Every Debit card Cash App issues in United States carries the same six digits. Two people on 464591 can get opposite results at the same checkout, which is why a single review is never conclusive.
Method
We bought a Cash App card, funded it, and pushed 264 charges through live merchant checkout pages between 16 Jul to 20 Aug 2026. Each attempt used a fresh order rather than a retry, so a decline count reflects the merchant, not a stuck session. 192 cleared.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
