BIN 239121: Lithuania Mastercard Virtual Card (Debit)
Straight runs on YouTube Premium, Spotify Premium, Netflix. No 3-D Secure loops, no AVS rejections, no manual review flags.
239121 is the Mastercard range Accrue hands out for Lithuania accounts. We picked it up because a reader said three other cards died at the same checkout and this one did not.

Running costs
The signup cost is easy to compare and mostly irrelevant. What follows you around is no top-up fee, with no FX markup sitting behind it. We checked these against the issuer's own pricing page, not a reseller. Resellers usually add a margin.

Results by merchant
Merchant by merchant, in the order we charged them. The rates below count renewals as well as first charges.
Merchant by merchant
| Merchant | Attempts | Cleared | Rate | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube Premium | 55 | 52 | 95% | cleared on the first attempt, no challenge issued |
| Spotify Premium | 44 | 38 | 86% | went through on a fresh card with the issuer's default address |
| Netflix | 34 | 29 | 85% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Target | 22 | 0 | 0% | AVS mismatch. The ZIP on file did not match the address registered to the card. |
| Hulu | 18 | 6 | 33% | Gateway risk rule fired and returned a generic decline with no challenge. |
Run from a Lithuania-region account between 07 Jul to 25 Aug 2026, with the billing address set to the issuer default unless noted. Declines were logged with the reason the gateway returned.
Failures we could not fix
The pattern in our failures is geographic. Target accepted it once the account region matched Lithuania, and refused it every time it did not.
What to change before you retry
- Target: 0 of 22 cleared. Target runs an address check on first orders. Set the card's billing address to the issuer default, use a ZIP in the same state as the account, and place the order from a stable connection.
- Hulu: 6 of 18 cleared. Hulu is US-only and rejects foreign ranges at the authorisation step. No configuration fixes this; use a US-issued range.
Before you try it
- Set the billing address to exactly what Accrue generates for Lithuania. Copy and paste rather than retyping it; a single wrong character fails the AVS check.
- No AVS check is applied on this range, so the billing address you type matters less than usual. It still has to be consistent between the first charge and the renewal.
- 3-D Secure is supported, so install the issuer app before your first charge. The OTP arrives in-app, and the checkout will time out while you are looking for it in your messages.
Our call
Overall a solid Debit range for Lithuania-region accounts. Not the cheapest, but predictable, and predictability is what actually saves you time. The one thing we would change is the funding fee. Everything else about it is fine.
The things people actually ask
What does the 239121 BIN tell a merchant?
It tells the risk engine three things before your bank is ever contacted: issuer Accrue, country of issue Lithuania, product class Debit. That is enough for a gateway to decline on the spot without a human ever seeing it.
Is 239121 a real card number?
No, and this trips people up. 239121 is a range identifier shared across every card Accrue issues in Lithuania. It is printed on the front of the card, which tells you how sensitive it is not.
Why would 239121 be declined if the range is fine?
Changing one variable at a time is the only way to diagnose this. Address first, then card, then the connection country. We have seen people change all three and learn nothing.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
Shared by design. Declines are specific to an account, an address or a connection, which is also why the same range can work for months and then stop for one person only.
What we did
We bought a Accrue card, funded it, and pushed 173 charges through live merchant checkout pages between 07 Jul to 25 Aug 2026. Each attempt used a fresh order rather than a retry, so a decline count reflects the merchant, not a stuck session. 125 cleared.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
