Virtual Cards for Pika Labs: Fees, KYC and Success Rates

What we would pick

Privacy.com, Bybit Card, Chime. If the first one trips the AVS check, move to the next instead of retrying the same card.

Pika Labs rejects cards for five reasons and four of them are fixable in ten minutes. The list below is the shortcut.

Why Pika Labs turns your card down

Pika Labs tightened its card checks through 2025 and again this year. Cards that worked for people two years ago frequently do not work now.

Both fixes are on your side of the transaction: match the card's country to the region your Pika Labs account is registered in, and paste the issuer's billing address without editing it.

The three we would actually use

Paying Pika Labs with a virtual card, start to finish

  1. 1

    Open the account

Every card here wants an ID up front. It is an automated check and rarely takes more than a few minutes. Do 2FA before the first deposit, not after.

  2. 2

    Load a small balance

USDT and bank transfer both work. Crypto lands in minutes; a transfer is cheaper but can sit overnight. Load one month first.

  3. 3

    Create the card

Multiple cards per account, so keep Pika Labs on a dedicated one. Lock it to the merchant and cap the spend. Both take seconds and neither costs anything.

BIN ranges worth trying on Pika Labs

Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.

Where these cards are issued

Every range above is tied to an issuing country. When a merchant turns one region away, the same brand frequently issues from a second one — the country pages below collect those.

Narrowed it down to two of the cards above? These head-to-head pages put their issuance fee, top-up fee, KYC tier and the merchants we test into one table, so the call is easier to make.

Questions we get asked

Will a virtual card actually work on Pika Labs?

Yes. Of the 29 cards we put at it in September, 10 cleared. The ones that did not were blocked at the range level, not for lack of funds. 58 issuers we track carry a positive flag here.

Why is my normal bank card declined by Pika Labs?

It comes down to where the card was issued. Pika Labs bills through an overseas acquirer, and that acquirer compares the card's country with your account region before the charge ever reaches your bank. It is a region rule, not a credit decision, which is why you never get a fraud alert.

Which one is cheapest for Pika Labs?

On our numbers Privacy.com leads at 9.8 out of 10. The rest is down to top-up cost: waived top-up fees matter more than a lower issuance fee once you are past month one.

Can I use a card with no KYC for Pika Labs?

One of the 10 cards above is listed as No KYC: Pikabao. It works, but it declines more often and the fees are worse than an issuer that takes an ID.

What does Pika Labs cost in total?

Three things add up: the one-off card fee, a top-up fee each time you fund, and the Pika Labs plan itself. On this page 6 of the 10 cards cost nothing to create. Spend limits and freezing are free everywhere.

Do I have to keep the card open between Pika Labs renewals?

Yes, unless you plan to re-enter the card every month. Freeze it between charges if the issuer supports that; closing it means starting over at the next renewal.

How we test

29 cards went through a live Pika Labs checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
