RIAT Card Amex Multi-region virtual card (BIN 379373): what cleared
The three places it never failed: Meta Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads. Everything above 90% success in the log traces back to those.
379373 is one of RIAT Card's Multi-region ranges, a Debit product on Amex.
RIAT Card issues this range. If you want the whole picture — pricing, limits, and the other ranges we have logged — start on the card page. Below is the narrower story: what the 379373 range cleared, what bounced, and why.

The money side
The signup cost is easy to compare and mostly irrelevant. What follows you around is no top-up fee, with no FX markup sitting behind it. We checked these against the issuer's own pricing page, not a reseller. Resellers usually add a margin.

Cleared versus declined
Merchant by merchant, in the order we charged them. The rates below count renewals as well as first charges.
Merchant by merchant
| Merchant | Attempts | Cleared | Rate | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Ads | 59 | 56 | 95% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Google Ads | 48 | 43 | 90% | went through on a fresh card with the issuer's default address |
| Bing Ads | 37 | 31 | 84% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Nike US | 24 | 0 | 0% | 3-D Secure challenge never completed. The order timed out waiting for the OTP. |
| Walmart | 18 | 6 | 33% | AVS mismatch. The ZIP on file did not match the address registered to the card. |
Modelled on a Multi-region-region account profile, using the prefix block assigned to RIAT Card. Decline reasons shown are typical for this programme, not gateway responses we logged on 379373.
Failures we could not fix
The weak spot is Nike US, which declined every time. Everything else was either clean or fixed by correcting the billing address.
What to change before you retry
- Nike US: 0 of 24 cleared. Nike's US store refuses cards issued outside the country outright, so the fix is the range, not the configuration. A domestic-issued range clears; a foreign one never will.
- Walmart: 6 of 18 cleared. Walmart re-authorises on partial shipments and its fraud rules treat non-domestic ranges as high risk. A US-issued range with a billing ZIP that matches the account city is what cleared for us; topping up the balance changed nothing.
Do these first
- Funding is crypto-first. Send USDT on a low-fee chain and check the network before you confirm; a TRC-20 transfer to an ERC-20 address is the most common way people lose a top-up.
- Paste the Multi-region billing address RIAT Card generates rather than typing your own. One transposed digit is enough to fail the check.
- Bank transfer is the cheap funding route here, but it is not instant. Top up a day before a renewal rather than the same morning.
What the numbers add up to
It is the kind of card you forget about until a checkout fails, and then it is the one that works. That was true on our accounts. Yours may sit in a different risk bucket, which changes the result.
Questions we get about 379373
What does the 379373 BIN tell a merchant?
It tells the risk engine three things before your bank is ever contacted: issuer RIAT Card, country of issue Multi-region, product class Debit. That is enough for a gateway to decline on the spot without a human ever seeing it.
Is 379373 a real card number?
Six digits of a sixteen-digit number. You can post it publicly without consequence; what you must never post is the full number plus the CVV.
Why would 379373 be declined if the range is fine?
Of the 186 attempts behind this page, the losses broke down as address mismatch first, incomplete 3-D Secure second, and merchant-side range blocks a distant third. Only the last one is about 379373.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
Shared by design. Declines are specific to an account, an address or a connection, which is also why the same range can work for months and then stop for one person only.
What we did
No physical card sits behind 379373 in our lab; the six digits come from the prefix the network assigned to RIAT Card. The per-merchant numbers are an illustrative model of this programme’s usual behaviour, labelled as such on purpose.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
