Virtual Card Options for Bing Ads: What Cleared Our Charges
Ramp, Pikabao, Wallester. If the first one trips the AVS check, move to the next instead of retrying the same card.
You need a card whose BIN country matches the region on your Bing Ads account. That is the whole trick. Fees and the rest are below.
Why Bing Ads turns your card down
The decline is a BIN mismatch. Bing Ads bills through an overseas acquirer, and that acquirer compares three things: the country your card was issued in, the billing address on file, and the country your account is registered in. Two out of three is not enough.
Cards that worked on Bing Ads
10 of the 71 issuers we track carry a positive flag for Bing Ads. Sorted by our blended score, which weighs fees at 40%, how reliably the card cleared at 35%, and KYC friction at 25%.

The three we would actually use
- Ramp is the cheapest route we found: Free to issue, no top-up fee on funding, and it cleared on the first attempt.
- We like Pikabao mainly for the funding side. 3% (USDT top-up) per top-up adds up if you pay monthly, but it is still the lowest of the cards that worked.
- Take Wallester if you want the lowest issuance cost (Free). Think twice if you plan to fund large amounts, because no top-up fee gets expensive quickly.
Paying Bing Ads with a virtual card, start to finish
-
1
Open the account
Pikabao is the quick route: no documents, card almost immediately. The other 2 want an ID. Turn 2FA on first either way.
-
2
Load a small balance
Two ways in: crypto, which is instant, or a bank transfer, which is cheaper and slower. Start with a single month and see it clear.
-
3
Create the card
One account will hold several cards, so give Bing Ads its own and leave the rest alone. Cap it near the plan price and lock it to this merchant.
-
4
Enter the details at checkout
There is an address check. Ramp issues a US General address. Paste that one, because AVS fails on a single wrong character.
-
5
Clear 3-D Secure
Answer the 3-D Secure challenge, then verify the subscription is live rather than trusting the success screen. Pending charges do happen.
If it still will not go through
Between them these cover almost every failed attempt we have logged.
- Billing address mismatch (Ramp issues a US General address). AVS compares what you type against the address on file, and it fails on a single transposed digit. Paste it instead of retyping.
- Card left frozen from the last test. Issuers sometimes freeze a card after unusual activity and never tell you. Check the app before blaming the merchant.
- Virtual BIN blocked. Some acquirers maintain a blocklist of well-known virtual ranges. Switching issuer usually clears it.
- Geo mismatch. Signing up in one country and paying with a card from another is the fastest route to a manual review.
- Three declines in a row. Most checkouts lock the payment method after three failures. Change the card instead of pressing the button again.
BIN ranges worth trying on Bing Ads
Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.
Where these cards are issued
Issuing country matters as much as the brand here. Where one region is refused, another is often accepted, so these pages group what we have tested by where the card was issued.
Compare the shortlisted cards side by side
Narrowed it down to two of the cards above? These head-to-head pages put their issuance fee, top-up fee, KYC tier and the merchants we test into one table, so the call is easier to make.
Questions we get asked
Will a virtual card actually work on Bing Ads?
In our tests, yes. We ran 20 cards against it in September and the 10 below are the ones that went through. Failures were almost all range blocks rather than balance problems, and 71 issuers in our database carry a positive flag for this merchant.
Why is my normal bank card declined by Bing Ads?
It comes down to where the card was issued. Bing Ads bills through an overseas acquirer, and that acquirer compares the card's country with your account region before the charge ever reaches your bank. It is a region rule, not a credit decision, which is why you never get a fraud alert.
Which one is cheapest for Bing Ads?
Ramp comes out on top at 9.5 out of 10. After that it depends on how you fund the card. A free top-up beats a cheaper signup fee the moment you keep it running past the first month.
Can I use a card with no KYC for Bing Ads?
One of the 10 cards above is listed as No KYC: Pikabao. It works, but it declines more often and the fees are worse than an issuer that takes an ID.
What does Bing Ads cost in total?
The card fee is the smallest part. What you actually pay is a top-up charge on every reload plus the Bing Ads plan. 7 of the 10 cards here skip the issuance fee entirely.
Do I have to keep the card open between Bing Ads renewals?
Yes, unless you plan to re-enter the card every month. Freeze it between charges if the issuer supports that; closing it means starting over at the next renewal.
How we test
20 cards went through a live Bing Ads checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
