Virtual Credit Cards That Work on EA App
Cheapest way in is Bybit Card, Mountain Wolf, Crypto.com Card. That is also the order we would try them in.
The decline you are seeing on EA App is a card-range problem, not a balance problem. 17 cards tested this month, 10 usable.
Why EA App turns your card down
EA App tightened its card checks through 2025 and again this year. Cards that worked for people two years ago frequently do not work now.

The three we would actually use
- Bybit Card scored 9.8/10. Nothing about it is remarkable except that it kept working when others stopped.
- Mountain Wolf scored 9.3/10. Nothing about it is remarkable except that it kept working when others stopped.
- We like Crypto.com Card mainly for the funding side. Free crypto top-up; ~1% f… per top-up adds up if you pay monthly, but it is still the lowest of the cards that worked.
Paying EA App with a virtual card, start to finish
-
1
Open the account
Have an ID ready; all 3 want one before they will issue. The check runs automatically. Set up 2FA while you wait, not once money is on the card.
-
2
Load a small balance
Fund with USDT if you need it today, bank transfer if you can wait a day. One month is plenty to prove the card works.
-
3
Create the card
You can spin up more than one card here, which is worth doing: EA App gets its own, everything else stays off it. Set the limit just above the plan price.
-
4
Enter the details at checkout
EA App checks the address. Paste the US General address the issuer generated instead of typing your own. One transposed digit is enough to fail it.
-
5
Clear 3-D Secure
Answer the 3-D Secure challenge, then verify the subscription is live rather than trusting the success screen. Pending charges do happen.
If it still will not go through
Between them these cover almost every failed attempt we have logged.
- Billing address mismatch (Crypto.com Card issues a US General address). AVS compares what you type against the address on file, and it fails on a single transposed digit. Paste it instead of retyping.
- Geo mismatch. Signing up in one country and paying with a card from another is the fastest route to a manual review.
- Three declines in a row. Most checkouts lock the payment method after three failures. Change the card instead of pressing the button again.
- Trial already claimed. If the free trial was used on that account before, the card gets charged immediately and often flagged as fraud.
- Debit range, credit-only acquirer. A handful of processors refuse debit BINs outright, before any balance check runs. Try a credit range from the table.
BIN ranges worth trying on EA App
Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.
Where these cards are issued
Every range above is tied to an issuing country. When a merchant turns one region away, the same brand frequently issues from a second one — the country pages below collect those.
Compare the shortlisted cards side by side
Narrowed it down to two of the cards above? These head-to-head pages put their issuance fee, top-up fee, KYC tier and the merchants we test into one table, so the call is easier to make.
Questions we get asked
Will a virtual card actually work on EA App?
It does. 10 of the 17 cards we tried in September got through, and 211 issuers in the database are flagged as working with this merchant. The failures we logged were range blocks, not empty balances.
Why is my normal bank card declined by EA App?
Region, mostly. EA App routes through an acquirer outside your home market, and that acquirer checks the card's issuing country against your account region first. Your bank never sees the charge, so nothing shows up as fraud on your side.
Which one is cheapest for EA App?
Bybit Card scores highest here at 9.8/10. Past that, the funding route decides it, because a card with free top-ups beats a cheaper signup fee the moment you reload twice.
Can I use a card with no KYC for EA App?
One of the 10 cards above is listed as No KYC: Pikabao. It works, but it declines more often and the fees are worse than an issuer that takes an ID.
What does EA App cost in total?
The card fee is the smallest part. What you actually pay is a top-up charge on every reload plus the EA App plan. 5 of the 10 cards here skip the issuance fee entirely.
Do I have to keep the card open between EA App renewals?
It is easier to leave it open, or frozen, than to close it. Closing cannot be undone, and a lapsed renewal is usually more hassle than the card sitting idle.
How we test
17 cards went through a live EA App checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
