How to Pay for Ubisoft Connect with a Virtual Credit Card

What we would pick

Bleap first. Lowest combined cost of the cards that actually worked, and the 3DS step does not ask for a phone number.

Most people land here after three or four failed attempts on Ubisoft Connect. We ran 17 cards so you do not have to repeat the experiment yourself.

Why Ubisoft Connect turns your card down

A card picked at random off a marketplace will fail Ubisoft Connect roughly half the time. The BIN range matters more than the balance sitting on the card.

Both fixes are on your side of the transaction: match the card's country to the region your Ubisoft Connect account is registered in, and paste the issuer's billing address without editing it.

Paying Ubisoft Connect with a virtual card, start to finish

  1. 1

    Open the account

All 3 ask for an ID before the first card exists. The check is automated and usually clears in minutes. Turn on 2FA before you fund anything.

  2. 2

    Load a small balance

Two ways in: crypto, which is instant, or a bank transfer, which is cheaper and slower. Start with a single month and see it clear. Bleap charges 0% per top-up.

  3. 3

    Create the card

Multiple cards per account, so keep Ubisoft Connect on a dedicated one. Lock it to the merchant and cap the spend. Both take seconds and neither costs anything.

    Enter the details at checkout

Ubisoft Connect does not run AVS on these cards, so it is just the card details. Paste them anyway; mistyping the number is indistinguishable from being blocked.

BIN ranges worth trying on Ubisoft Connect

Each range has its own issuer, country and card type. If a merchant blocks one, move to another rather than retrying.

Where these cards are issued

Issuing country matters as much as the brand here. Where one region is refused, another is often accepted, so these pages group what we have tested by where the card was issued.

Questions we get asked

Will a virtual card actually work on Ubisoft Connect?

In our tests, yes. We ran 17 cards against it in September and the 10 below are the ones that went through. Failures were almost all range blocks rather than balance problems, and 211 issuers in our database carry a positive flag for this merchant.

Why is my normal bank card declined by Ubisoft Connect?

Region, mostly. Ubisoft Connect routes through an acquirer outside your home market, and that acquirer checks the card's issuing country against your account region first. Your bank never sees the charge, so nothing shows up as fraud on your side.

Which one is cheapest for Ubisoft Connect?

On our numbers Bleap leads at 9.8 out of 10. The rest is down to top-up cost: waived top-up fees matter more than a lower issuance fee once you are past month one.

Can I use a card with no KYC for Ubisoft Connect?

One of the 10 cards above is listed as No KYC: Paycek. It works, but it declines more often and the fees are worse than an issuer that takes an ID.

What does Ubisoft Connect cost in total?

The card fee is the smallest part. What you actually pay is a top-up charge on every reload plus the Ubisoft Connect plan. 7 of the 10 cards here skip the issuance fee entirely.

Do I have to keep the card open between Ubisoft Connect renewals?

Yes, unless you plan to re-enter the card every month. Freeze it between charges if the issuer supports that; closing it means starting over at the next renewal.

How we test

17 cards went through a live Ubisoft Connect checkout on a real account, and one only counts if the first charge clears and the renewal four weeks later clears too. Cards that pass the trial then fail on renewal get marked down rather than dropped. Fees come from the issuers' own pricing pages, re-checked monthly, and converted at the rate on the verification date when they are not in USD. The full protocol, including how we log declines, is on the methodology page.
