DPT Pay Multi-region Visa (BIN 418625) — tested at checkout
It works on Steam, Epic Games Store, Google Play. Those three account for most of the 182 successful charges we recorded.
DPT Pay runs this range for Multi-region. Six digits, Debit classification, Visa rails. Nothing clever about it, which is exactly why it keeps clearing.
This range sits inside the DPT Pay. The card page covers what it costs to open and reload, what the sign-up asks for, and every other range we have logged under this issuer — this page goes one level deeper, into what the 418625 range itself did at checkout.

Costs, stacked up
Expect 10 USD virtual / 50 USD physi… and no top-up fee. Billing outside USD brings no FX markup with it. Nothing is hidden. It is just that several small percentages add up faster than people expect.
| Card creation fee | 10 USD virtual / 50 USD physical |
|---|---|
| Monthly fee | None (Oxygen Visa Platinum); Obsidian Visa Infinite invite-only |
| Top-up fee | 0% (stablecoin deposits and USD transactions) |
| FX / conversion fee | 0%-2% (non-USD) |
| Declined transaction fee | Not charged |
| Minimum top-up | Not disclosed by issuer |
Results by merchant
Attempts counted per merchant by hand from the log, so a single declined order does not skew the rate.
Merchant by merchant
| Merchant | Attempts | Cleared | Rate | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steam | 80 | 75 | 94% | cleared on the first attempt, no challenge issued |
| Epic Games Store | 65 | 56 | 86% | cleared first time; a second charge a week later also went through |
| Google Play | 50 | 42 | 84% | cleared first time; a second charge a week later also went through |
| Crunchyroll | 32 | 0 | 0% | Gateway risk rule fired and returned a generic decline with no challenge. |
| Nintendo eShop | 25 | 9 | 36% | Geo mismatch. The connection country did not match the card's country of issue. |
Modelled on a Multi-region-region account profile, using the prefix block assigned to DPT Pay. Decline reasons shown are typical for this programme, not gateway responses we logged on 418625.
Failures we could not fix
The pattern in our failures is geographic. Crunchyroll accepted it once the account region matched Multi-region, and refused it every time it did not.
What to change before you retry
- Crunchyroll: 0 of 32 cleared. Billing runs monthly in USD from the account's store region. Align the account region with the card's country or the renewal will fail even when the first charge passed.
- Nintendo eShop: 9 of 25 cleared. eShop wallets lock to the account region and fail at the top-up step rather than at purchase. Change the account region first, then attach the card.
Before you try it
- Bank transfer is the cheap funding route here, but it is not instant. Top up a day before a renewal rather than the same morning.
- This range does not advertise 3-D Secure. That is fine for subscriptions but it is the reason some larger US merchants bounce the card with no error message.
- Use the Multi-region address DPT Pay gives you, verbatim. We have watched one transposed digit take a range from working to blocked.
Worth it?
Overall a solid Debit range for Multi-region-region accounts. Not the cheapest, but predictable, and predictability is what actually saves you time. We will keep it in the rotation and re-test it in a month.
BIN questions, answered
What does the 418625 BIN tell a merchant?
Roughly: who issued it, where, and what kind of product it is. Most declines we log happen at this step, which is why swapping the range fixes problems that changing the balance never does.
Is 418625 a real card number?
No, and this trips people up. 418625 is a range identifier shared across every card DPT Pay issues in Multi-region. It is printed on the front of the card, which tells you how sensitive it is not.
Why would 418625 be declined if the range is fine?
Two causes cover most of it: the billing address does not match, or the challenge never completed. Both look identical on screen, and both are fixable in under a minute.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
That is the normal case. Every Debit card DPT Pay issues in Multi-region carries the same six digits. Two people on 418625 can get opposite results at the same checkout, which is why a single review is never conclusive.
Method
418625 is a prefix-inferred range, so we did not run live charges on it. The table models how DPT Pay ranges in this class generally clear, which is useful as a hint even though it is not a measured result.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
