BIN 526169: Lithuania Mastercard Virtual Card (Debit)

In short

It works on YouTube Premium, Disney+, Anthropic API. Those three account for most of the 98 successful charges we recorded.

526169 is the Mastercard range Fyatu hands out for Lithuania accounts. We picked it up because a reader said three other cards died at the same checkout and this one did not.

The money side

The signup cost is easy to compare and mostly irrelevant. What follows you around is no top-up fee, with no FX markup sitting behind it. We checked these against the issuer's own pricing page, not a reseller. Resellers usually add a margin.

Cleared versus declined

Attempts counted per merchant by hand from the log, so a single declined order does not skew the rate.

Run from a Lithuania-region account between 11 Jul to 22 Aug 2026, with the billing address set to the issuer default unless noted. Declines were logged with the reason the gateway returned.

Failures we could not fix

It failed twice on Hetzner, both times on an AVS mismatch rather than a range block. Setting the billing address to the issuer default fixed it.

What to change before you retry

Setup notes for Fyatu

  1. 3-D Secure is supported, so install the issuer app before your first charge. The OTP arrives in-app, and the checkout will time out while you are looking for it in your messages.
  2. Set the billing address to exactly what Fyatu generates for Lithuania. Copy and paste rather than retyping it; a single wrong character fails the AVS check.
  3. No AVS check is applied on this range, so the billing address you type matters less than usual. It still has to be consistent between the first charge and the renewal.

Verdict, briefly

Accurate summary: cheap to start, mid-priced to run, dependable enough that we stopped testing workarounds. If you find a merchant where it behaves differently, tell us and we will add it to the log.

The things people actually ask

What does the 526169 BIN tell a merchant?

In practice the checkout reads Fyatu / Lithuania / Debit and decides. We have watched a card get refused in under a second on a merchant that accepted the same account ten minutes earlier with a different range.

Is 526169 a real card number?

No, and this trips people up. 526169 is a range identifier shared across every card Fyatu issues in Lithuania. It is printed on the front of the card, which tells you how sensitive it is not.

Why would 526169 be declined if the range is fine?

Changing one variable at a time is the only way to diagnose this. Address first, then card, then the connection country. We have seen people change all three and learn nothing.

Can thousands of people share the same BIN?

Shared by design. Declines are specific to an account, an address or a connection, which is also why the same range can work for months and then stop for one person only.

What we did

We bought a Fyatu card, funded it, and pushed 137 charges through live merchant checkout pages between 11 Jul to 22 Aug 2026. Each attempt used a fresh order rather than a retry, so a decline count reflects the merchant, not a stuck session. 98 cleared.

Counting rules

Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
