ChiCha Multi-region Mastercard (BIN 527735) — tested at checkout
Best hit rate in our run: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Steam. Timestamps in the log, no retries needed.
527735 is the Mastercard range ChiCha hands out for Multi-region accounts. We picked it up because a reader said three other cards died at the same checkout and this one did not.
ChiCha issues this range. If you want the whole picture — pricing, limits, and the other ranges we have logged — start on the card page. Below is the narrower story: what the 527735 range cleared, what bounced, and why.

What you pay, line by line
Budget for a Virtual $5-6, a 1.5% top-up fee, and a Yes penalty on declined authorizations. That last one only matters if you are pushing a lot of small charges. Compare on funding cost rather than signup fee. The funding side is what you pay every month for years.

Run from a Multi-region-region account between 11 Jul to 12 Sep 2026, with the billing address set to the issuer default unless noted. Declines were logged with the reason the gateway returned.
Failures we could not fix
Two merchants gave us trouble, Best Buy and Tidal. In both cases the decline came back as an issuer block rather than an address problem, which is not something you can fix from your side.
What to change before you retry
- Best Buy: 0 of 41 cleared. High-value orders land in manual review. Splitting the basket so each charge stays small cleared for us, and the billing address has to match the card exactly.
- Tidal: 11 of 30 cleared. Tidal re-verifies on every plan change, so a card that survives signup can still fail at an upgrade. Keep the address static between changes.
Three things worth doing
- Your tier allows 50 cards. Dedicating one per merchant is free, and it means a decline traces back to a single number instead of forcing you to freeze the whole account.
- Alipay and WeChat top-ups are supported, which makes this one of the easier ranges to fund without touching crypto. Keep individual top-ups small while you are testing.
- Paste the Multi-region billing address ChiCha generates rather than typing your own. One transposed digit is enough to fail the check.
Our call
Worth having as a backup rather than a primary. When a merchant blocks the popular ranges, 527735 is usually still open. We would put it in the second tier. Reliable, unremarkable, and cheap enough to keep around.
BIN questions, answered
What does the 527735 BIN tell a merchant?
In practice the checkout reads ChiCha / Multi-region / Debit and decides. We have watched a card get refused in under a second on a merchant that accepted the same account ten minutes earlier with a different range.
Is 527735 a real card number?
No, and this trips people up. 527735 is a range identifier shared across every card ChiCha issues in Multi-region. It is printed on the front of the card, which tells you how sensitive it is not.
Why would 527735 be declined if the range is fine?
Changing one variable at a time is the only way to diagnose this. Address first, then card, then the connection country. We have seen people change all three and learn nothing.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
Shared by design. Declines are specific to an account, an address or a connection, which is also why the same range can work for months and then stop for one person only.
How we got these numbers
We bought a ChiCha card, funded it, and pushed 317 charges through live merchant checkout pages between 11 Jul to 12 Sep 2026. Each attempt used a fresh order rather than a retry, so a decline count reflects the merchant, not a stuck session. 227 cleared.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. The BIN itself is taken from the issuer's own published card list. Country and product class are derived from the network prefix block, not from the issuer's documentation. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
