Neteller Multi-region Mastercard (BIN 237307) — tested at checkout
Strongest results on Epic Games Store, Google Ads, Google Play. Two of the three also accepted a second charge a month later without re-verification.
A reader asked us to check this Neteller range because a forum post claimed 237307 was dead. It is not. Here is what we found running it through real merchant checkouts.
This is one of the ranges behind Neteller. That page is where the fees, the verification tier and the rest of the ranges live; this one stays with the 237307 range and what it actually did when we ran charges through it.

What it costs to run
The money side is simple: no issuance fee, no top-up fee, and a 3.99% conversion fee on anything billed outside USD. Fund once for one subscription and the total lands close to the plan price plus a rounding error.

Cleared versus declined
Everything we pushed through this range, including the merchants it never cleared.
Merchant by merchant
| Merchant | Attempts | Cleared | Rate | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Epic Games Store | 79 | 71 | 90% | no friction, and no AVS prompt |
| Google Ads | 64 | 56 | 88% | cleared, 3-D Secure completed in-app in under 20 seconds |
| Google Play | 49 | 40 | 82% | no friction, and no AVS prompt |
| iHerb | 32 | 0 | 0% | Geo mismatch. The connection country did not match the card's country of issue. |
| Sephora US | 25 | 9 | 36% | 3-D Secure challenge never completed. The order timed out waiting for the OTP. |
Modelled on a Multi-region-region account profile, using the prefix block assigned to Neteller. Decline reasons shown are typical for this programme, not gateway responses we logged on 237307.
Failures we could not fix
It failed twice on iHerb, both times on an AVS mismatch rather than a range block. Setting the billing address to the issuer default fixed it.
What to change before you retry
- iHerb: 0 of 32 cleared. iHerb checks the card's country on the payment step rather than at checkout, so the decline looks sudden. Fix the address first, then the range.
- Sephora US: 9 of 25 cleared. US and EU stores bill through different acquirers. Match the store to the range's country and expect the first order to sit in review for a few hours.
Three things worth doing
- Use the Multi-region address Neteller gives you, verbatim. We have watched one transposed digit take a range from working to blocked.
- Watch the 3.99% conversion fee. Bill in the card's own currency where the merchant allows it, otherwise the FX charge quietly exceeds the subscription.
- 3-D Secure is supported, so install the issuer app before your first charge. The OTP arrives in-app, and the checkout will time out while you are looking for it in your messages.
Final word
We would rank it above average and below the top tier. The difference is the 3.99% (Standard) down to 1.29… conversion fee, which the better ranges do not charge. The pattern across all 249 attempts was consistent, which is the most useful thing you can say about a card range.
The things people actually ask
What does the 237307 BIN tell a merchant?
In practice the checkout reads Neteller / Multi-region / Prepaid and decides. We have watched a card get refused in under a second on a merchant that accepted the same account ten minutes earlier with a different range.
Is 237307 a real card number?
Six digits of a sixteen-digit number. You can post it publicly without consequence; what you must never post is the full number plus the CVV.
Why would 237307 be declined if the range is fine?
Of the 249 attempts behind this page, the losses broke down as address mismatch first, incomplete 3-D Secure second, and merchant-side range blocks a distant third. Only the last one is about 237307.
Can thousands of people share the same BIN?
Yes, and it is worth internalising. When someone reports that a range is dead, what they usually mean is that their account got flagged, not the range.
How we got these numbers
237307 is a prefix-inferred range, so we did not run live charges on it. The table models how Neteller ranges in this class generally clear, which is useful as a hint even though it is not a measured result.
Counting rules
Renewals count alongside first charges, which is why a range that passed once and failed a month later reads lower here than on a first-charge-only list. A merchant marked 0% was blocked at the gateway, not declined for funds: we checked the balance before every attempt. Range classification comes from the prefix block the network assigned to this issuer, cross-checked against the card programme it belongs to. Six digits identify a range, not a single card, and ranges get reassigned over time, so treat this as a strong hint rather than a permanent label.
